[16:27] <hannesw> test[16:27] <hannesw> hello world
[17:43] <hannesw> another test
[17:47] * earl pats hensobot on the back
[17:49] <hannesw> earl cometd updates seem to work pretty well
[17:49] <earl> very nice :)
[17:49] <hannesw> only actions don't work, or whatever it's called when you start with /me
[17:49] <hannesw> i tried to keep it as simple as possible
[17:50] <hannesw> the "official" cometd example chat is quite complicated
[17:50] <earl> the simpler the better
[17:50] <hannesw> i foundit would nice to use ringo skins in the browser
[17:50] <earl> yes, i saw that
[17:50] <hannesw> that should defintely be a goal for the refactoring
[17:51] <earl> until then, we could send the stuff rendered over cometd?
[17:51] <earl> (and thereby re-use the skins)
[17:52] <hannesw> well, it's simple enough this way
[17:52] <earl> would be nice if actions worked as well
[17:53] <earl> don't know off the top of my head if ringo/skin allows subskins to be used via the API
[17:54] <earl> but if it does, it would probably make things even simpler to pre-render on the server
[17:54] <hannesw> don't think so, but shouldn't be hard
[17:56] <earl> i think skin.getSubskin().render() or sthg similar may work
[18:03] <earl> i assume you are using a modified ringo-cometd?
[18:04] <hannesw> no, why? isn't it working?
[18:04] <earl> the version i just fetched from github does not seem to have a createChannel
[18:04] <hannesw> oh shit yes :)
[18:04] <earl> :)
[18:04] <hannesw> forgot to commit that
[18:06] <hannesw> should be fixed
[18:06] <hannesw> thanks for that
[18:08] <hannesw> gotta leave, family duty
